Wow, I did a double-take on this one - the two dogs fit SO well into a Sendak illustration. It's hard to see on such a small image, but did you redraw them, or, if they're just photoshopped in, did you do any manipulation on the images first?

They're just Photoshopped in. I just masked the backgrounds of the 2 dog photos, and resized them. I did have to do some quick work on the original illustration. I took the original character, Max, out of the boat so that he couldn't be seen behind them. His tail was also hanging over the side of the boat. I had to remove that.
