Extended Game Day
Do we want to do an extended gameday at our place on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
We can start at 10am with playstation, someone can bring an xbox if they'd like, board games, whatever. Then for anyone that doesn't want to show up that early start DnD at 1pm and play till we are ready to quit or midnight...whichever happens first.
Thoughts?

That sounds like fun, but Death Lord and The Dwarf are our usual dog sitters (and we are theirs). We can't leave Maizy in her crate for that long.

It does sound like fun but it's not going to work out with our schedule this weekend. We're planning to put sod down in the backyard on Saturday since grass is not exactly flourishing back there. Allesia and Fellhammer (everybody else too), if you don't have plans on Monday- Memorial day- would you like to meet at the Eagle Creek Dog Park so Bandit and our dogs can get a little more acquainted? The all day gaming idea sounds like a good time and that might help if we're going to have all the dogs together all day. As far as when to do that, how is Saturday, June 11th? Jessica will be out of town from Tuesday the 7th until early on Saturday (like 9am or something) and we could come straight from the airport. Not to invite ourselves or anything... What day are we D&Ding next week? Friday or Saturday is fine. I don't know what works for everybody. We can start a little early on Saturday, assuming we can get the sod done in a relatively short time. Discuss.

Friday or Saturdy is ok with Fell and I next week (Memorial Day). So far we have no plans for June 11th either, so an extended gaming day then would fit into our schedules.

Greetings from Jefferson City, TN! We are at my parents' house and will return home on Thurs.
Friday (may 27) would be better for us for d&d this week, since we are supposed to go to Urbana on Sat. afternoon. I think June 11 should be OK.

Ok. Let's plan for Friday this week - usual time.
And let's plan to do the extended gaming day at Kris and Christina's house on June 11! Thanks for having us all over.
Only thing left to decide is if it is ok to bring the dogs (would potentially be 5 of them - Maizy, Ripley, Sam, Marisol (if she and Bandit can make peace), and Andy).

Weather would be a big factor if puppies come over, too. Our back yard resembles a mud wrestling pit after a small rain, so outside breaks would need to be out front on a leash (unless your dog is awesomely trained to come when called unlike Bandit). Thank you Bandit for deciding that the sod we laid last year made a fun tug toy :-/
That said, good luck with sodding over the weekend. Its a messy job, but you sure see results quicker than with seeding!
On a good note, June 10th is Bandit's scheduled day for doggie day care, so he'll just lounge about on Saturday the 11th! I love doggie day care :)

It will be the same here for the next few weeks with the dogs. Once we lay the sod, dogs will need to go out on leash (front or back) so that they don't get into the new sod. I am very nervous about doing it. Hopefully it will go well.
