Less is not really more

As my regular order at coffee shops has changed from "large, black, with sugar" in grad school to "small, non-fat, decaf latte (with sweetener)" nowadays, it occurs to me that the following exchange is probably somewhere in my not too-distant future:

"Welcome to Starbucks, may I help you?"

"Yes, I'd like a cup of smell, please."

"Excuse me?"

"Just hold the cup over the coffee pot, then put a lid on it..."

Wuss. I'm going in the exact opposite direction. When ordering at a coffee shop it's now generally a cafe mocha with an extra shot of espresso in it but I find myself wishing for another shot. Since we switched to a coffee press at home I find myself enjoying the coffee sludge at the bottom of the cup more and more.

I am with you Deathboy. It sucks when your body stops metabolizing caffeine, and sugar, and alcohol, and fat, and [insert anything enjoyable here] like it used to.
