New Dwarven Feats

Here are a couple suggestions for the new Fighter Feats for Anath and Seth. Although we should decide at what point Seth is going to muti-class as a cleric if we're still leaning toward doing that.

Anath: Cleave (We gave her Power Attack at 1st level, which is a prerequisite)
Seth: Weapon Focus (morningstar), maybe? I was trying to come up with something better but can't. Or do we want to make him a 1st level cleric (so no feat this level but he'll get 2 at 3rd level when he gets his 2nd fighter level)?

If you have any better ideas I'd love to hear them.

OMG!!! Blog spam, I feel like, sooooo popular. That's the second blog I contribute to that's gotten spam this week. We're moving up in the world guys! No comments unless its for DnD; I'm elitist geek.

I thought our blog only allowed posts from "contibutors" or whatever we're called. I guess there's a way around that too, huh? IS NOTHING SACRED FROM SPAM? I mean, it would be one thing if canned meat showed up everywhere but this?

I say we take a cleric level for Seth, forgo the feat for now. I like Cleave for Anath. I love Cleave in general (i say this with a tear in my eye).

Do you think the spammers looked around a little? If so, wouldn't a comment on the rogue hiking in assless chaps have been present?

I also think Seth should take a cleric level this time, especially since our favored soul won't gain spells as quickly. As for Anath, I love cleave and I can't imagine a dwarven fighter with out it.

We must have hit the big time with our blog. It seems funny the all of the sudden we've been spammed. The thing I find the most odd is that mhn for short, appears to be someone who stummbled upon our site. I talked to Michizzle, she said she left this site so that anyone with a blogger account can comment, but not post.

Yup, anyone with a Blogger account can leave comments, only members of that blog can create posts. Its fine by me to have Seth take a level in cleric now, too.

We gave Seth a cleric level so no extra feat for him. He also doesn't have any extra feet. Anath was given Cleave. What's a Dwarven fighter without Cleave? We can now rightfully say that our female dwarf has cleavage. We divied up their skill points as best we could but since one of them got 4 and one got 2 we didn't have much to do. A couple into concentration for the new cleric and the rest here and there.

Sounds good, especially that neither dwarf grew any extra feet. Extra healing can only help :)

We need to decide on Seth's domains. His God is Moradin (God of Dwarves). I know nothing of this stuff. Any suggestions?

Here's a little bit about Moradin. Sounds like we can have him take a domain in Skills which adds +1 to skill checks and Good to balance for being a cleric. Thoughts?

I can't find the Skill domain listed anywhere and it's not in eTools. Is it in a book you guys have? Will the BOD allow it? It sounds like a great idea, I'd just like to know the details.

Oh yeah, if the Skill domain doesn't work out we were also looking at the Earth domain but the Skill domain sounds cooler.

blaugh..that's what I get for searching through wotc site over lunch instead of looking at my players guide at home. I find crappy info. In the Complete Divine book, Moradin's domains include creation, earth, good, law, and protection. I think it would be wise to have him in the creation domain after reading up a bit on it. When he gets access to 3rd level cleric spells, he gets a spell called Create Food and Water which produces enough to sustain 3 humans for 1 day. The creation domain adds a +1 caster level to him for that spell. In my opinion, better to eat food created out of thin air than a bit of psion. :P

That's a good idea but I don't know if Seth will ever get 3rd level spells. We'd have to put a point in Wisdom for him to have a Wisdom score high enough to cast 3rd level spells and he'd have to be a 5th level Cleric too. Assuming we raise his Fighter levels at least as fast as his Cleric levels he'll be 10th level (at the minimum) before he can do it.

I'm in favor of anything which results in less eating of the Psion, unless it is an entirely different kind of eating....

And by the way, I was just glancing at the first spam in the list. What could there be to say about acne scars that would require an entire blog??

Hrm, sounds like this is why I'm not doing any of that multiclassing stuff - too confusing! :D Regardless, I can still take that spell on my favored soul, so eventually we won't have to eat psion or rely on finding whatever the BOD's figured out for us.

Yeah, it is rather disturbing and a bit gross to have an entire site dedicated to acne scars. This seems like a bad case of stereotyping folks who play dnd: we all have bad pock marks, gamble, and need to buy a car because we live in our moms' basements.
