Whos turn is it this week? Mine? If so I was thinking Papa Murphys pizza? If not then I submit to the will of the runner (provided that runners will is not McD's).

I think it might actually be our turn, given that we haven't yet done it. But pizza sounds good, and we've never tried Papa Murphy's. Where do we go and what do we do?

Hm. Not sure if my previous comment actually went through. Once again:

I think it's our turn, as we've never gotten dinner before. Papa Murphy's sounds good - where is it, and what kinda pizza should we get?

Papa Murphys is a "take n bake" pizza place. Very good pizza though. They are located on Teal just east of Marsh, kind of behind Burger King.
Address:
2324 Teal Road
Tel: (765) 471-1700
I suggest the Chicago Style stuffed pizza. But it does take a little bit longer to cook than the standard pizzas.

The pizza at Papa Murphy's is good but, as Adam said, it is take-n-bake (which is not at all like wake-n-bake I'm sorry to say) so you'll want to get to our house a little early if you want to bake it at our place. It takes about 30 minutes to bake. If you want to pick it up early and cook it at your place and then bring it over that's fine too but the pizza doesn't come in a box. It's just on a cardboard tray with cellophane wrap on it so delivery of the cooked pizza might be complicated. Either way is fine with me and as far as toppings go I'll eat anything. We'll need a couple pizzas for sure so we might want to get a veggie version and a meat version. Let me know if you want to cook it at our place so we can get the oven warmed up and I also recommend a couple of the cheezy breads too although you need to ask for extra marinara sauce because the little dish that comes with it is nowhere near enough. Yummy though.

mmmmm. cheezy bread.

Regarding the cheezy bread - does the fact that it's spelled with a 'z' absolve them of any responsibility to actully put real cheese in it.

It does, but it also makes it a requirement to add cheeze. Actually, I think it's "cheesy bread" but the "Z" seemed to add a little sumpin' sumpin', know whad I'm sayin'?

Ok, Papa Murphy's it is. We'll bake it there for simplicity. I guess we'll aim to show up at 5:30 or 6?

Howsa bout 1 Chicago Style and one normal w/cheese. Or do you think they'd do a Vegetarian w/out green peppers?

I'm sure they'd make one without green peppers. I think if you get to our place around 5:45 we should be able to get the pizzas and cheesy bread made. Maybe send the word out to everybody and see what people want, or don't want, on the pizzas. I'll eat anything so don't worry about me.

I am in the "consumes just about anything" category as well.. And as a note: about two, at the most three, pieces of the chicago style will suit me.

I'll have the vegetarian with extra green peppers please.

Just jokes! Either vegetarian with no green peppers or plain cheese is great for me.

Not to be a pain, but I don't like plain cheese pizza or any meat except sausage. But I do like veggie. The regular pizzas are basically build-your-own. I suggest a pizza with zucchini, spinach, and olives (green or black) with regular crust (not thin). We have had this combo before - very yummy!

Here is the menu online: http://www.papamurphys.com/public/menu_papasPizzas.cfm

Or we (Jessica and Steve) have one at home too if you want to call us. Who is getting the pizza - I can't keep the screen names straight. I have a hard enough time with real names.

How many pizzas will we need for 7 people? Will 2 be enough?

I'll eat anything as long as it doesn't have onions or anchovies.
I think we should go with 3 pizzas.

Ok, I'll aim to land at Phollower & the Dwarf's by 5:45 (means leaving work by 5, prolly). Drop the pizzas off, head home and pick up Elaine and their royal Highnesses.

As for Pizzas, we have:
1 regular crust with zuck, green olives, spinach [I don't see anything on the menu about pick your own ingredients, but I'll give it a shot]

1 Chicago deep dish (menu says salami and pepperoni, Italian sausage, beef, and onion mix, but I'm a bit of a purist and would prefer to leave out the salami and beef -- ie. just sausage, pepperoni, onions, and maybe mushrooms if they'll do it)

Any suggestions on size of the regular? Should we get two Regulars (I suggest their Specialty of the House -- sausage, mushrooms, black olives, herb & cheese blend)

Do I need to call this in ahead of time?

I'm confused. Are we getting 2 pizzas or 3? If we're getting a 3rd, could we get a cheese or a Hawaiian? I spoke too soon about eating anything except onions and anchovies. I wasn't antcipating toppings like zucchini and spinich showing up on pizza.

No problem. Make that

1 Chicago deep dish -- sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms
1 Regular (not sure that's the right word) not-thin Zucky, Spinach, Green Olives
1 Regular all Cheese
Mucho Cheezzzzy Stix

Anything Else?

Pizza looks good to me. Yes, call ahead so they will have it made when you get there.

For size on the regular get family size (they have med, lg, and family size). I know you can get that pizza since I have ordered it more than once myself.

I don't know if there are sizes on the Chicago style - we've never gotten that.

For the cheesy bread, ask for extra sauce.

I believe they do offer different sizes of Chicago style. I ussually get the family size, and as the dwarf said you do want to call ahead of time. I ussually call at least 20 minutes before I would like to pick the order up.
