Pre-Game Day Dog Date

Hello Everybody,

The Dwarf and I were thinking it might be a good idea to get the dogs together (re: tire them out) at the Eagle Creek dog park before we bring them to invade Fellhammer and Allesia's lovely abode. I'm picking the Dwarf up from the airport a little after 9am on Saturday so we could be to the dog park around 9:45, give or take a bit. If anyone would like to meet us early on game day that would be coooool. Don't forget to bring all your immunization stuff.

Actually, you'll need your dogs' immunization records. Not yours.

Tired dogs are good dogs, sounds good to me :) Looks like we're forecast for rain this week, including a small chance on Saturday, so our backyard will be a mudpit most likely.

One word of warning, if you've never been to Eagle Creek Dog Park, be sure to bring water for the pups (no water there) and sunscreen since there's no shade. Pasty gamers such as myself don't respond well to direct sunlight without SPF 35+ :D

How late are we playing (assuming a noonish start for lunch)? I'm not sure if we need to bring the dog. He regularly goes 8 hrs w/out us, but much more than that might be tough.

I figured we'd just play till we are ready to go home or midnight...which ever comes first.

Does anyone know how much day passes cost? I didn't see anything on the bark park website, maybe I failed a search.

I think it's $3 or $4 a dog. That also includes admission to Eagle Creek Park itself which doesn't mean anything this time but it is a nice park to walk around in for a few hours if you ever go down there another time. Huh, huh, I said, "If you ever go down..."

Yar..bad site design drives me nuts, makes me think I failed a search check. Using my high wisdom modifier, I called the park office and daily dog passes are $4 per dog. Proof of rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordatella vaccinations are needed when buying a pass.

Excellent work. You may pick a bonus XP card.
