New Year's Eve and a Growth

2 bits of noteworthy news:
  1. By special request and popular demand the party will be growing by 2 members. I'd like to officially welcome Kris and Christina to the group. Kris is already signed up on the blog (Lord Fellhammer). They will be joining the group as of Jan. 7th. I believe Christina will be a Cleric (you're going to need it) and Kris a Fighter. Details to be learned as the game progresses.
  2. The New Year's Eve session is being changed from a D&D night to a New Year's Eve party instead. You guys will have finished what you're working on now and will be at a good stopping point and ready to meet up with the new members. I was going to put together a short adventure for the night but, screw it. Let 's just play games and drink instead. Here's the scoop:
  • The festivities will be at our house and will start at 8pm
  • Please bring drinks and a snack to share. We'd like to have the drinks and the food be sharable so bring something you like and don't mind if others enjoy too. We seem to be a group that enjoys good beverages so I'm pretty sure no one will be bringing Milwaukee's Best and then drinking the Guiness. The fridge should end up with a little something for everybody.
  • Dogs are welcome. We could potentially end up with 8 or more dogs in the house so be prepared for mayhem. Hopefully the ground will be frozen which will make for a much easier paw cleaning night. Shoo 'em out, let 'em in, pass the egg nog.
  • We're planning to play board games (Carcassonne, Puerto Rico, etc), card games (yes Michele, we'll play the Bean game), X-Box etc. If there's a game you'd like to bring feel free to bring it.
  • It won't be a huge gathering but not tiny either. Probably 15 people, give or take a couple. But who knows? With our immense popularity anything's possible.

Questions, comments, concerns? You know where we are.

Christmas Eve D&D

I was thinking about our Christmas Eve D&D decision and realized we have one choice we had not considered. We could play on Thursday the 23rd in the evening instead of the 24th in the afternoon. So now we just need to know when will work best for everyone.

The deathmaster and I can play on the 23rd in the evening, anytime.
We can also play on the 24th starting at about 2.
Josh will be here for either of those times, so he can play Kaironen if he can't make it or a visiting character if everyone can make it.

The Hunt for Red December

That's right, more subs. This week's dinner choice is courtesy of Jessica and I and the choice is Quizno's. www.quiznos.com We've been there once already and the food is good. Also, for all bringers of dogs, please bring a leash for them as the backyard is a horrible mess and is only going to get worse if we get the additional rain that's forcasted. If we keep the beasts a little more restrained it should help keep all our dogs in a more "presentable" condition. Of course all bets are off when they're inside the house so bring any necessary knee braces.

dinner time and the livin's easy...

...and stevie's on the microphone with ras m.g.

Isn't it about time to start discussing dinner ? I mean, haven't we learned that we need to give Loki a 16-17 hour advanced notice to make her decision?

Peace Out.
